Visiting the Cradle of Human Rights Movement

Human rights movement has achieved new heights in today’s world and everywhere you can see organizations involved in protecting the human rights. However, when it was in a premature stage, Atlanta, The capital city of Georgia State in US brought it up. The city also gave birth to the greatest humanist in the world Martin Luther King. Thus it has been known as the cradle of Human rights movement. My last visit to this city was to participate in one seminar conducted by an international human rights organization. The organizers have provided the plane tickets.  They might have tried to avail maximum airline discount and that may be the reason for getting a ticket in one of the cheap flights to Atlanta.

Presently, Atlanta is enjoying the status of a grown up business center and that is why it attracts many visitors daily. There are many flights to Atlanta from different parts of the world. Air Canada, Air Jamaica etc are also operating in this region. Being a sponsored program, the organizers have made all arrangements for our stay there. It was quite an unforgettable experience to stay there for over a fortnight in the company of people from different parts of the world. The first three days have passed with various discussions and symposiums etc. in the evening we went outside to enjoy the city life. The city has a strong incline towards music and other performing arts. The large number of venues for performing arts establishes this truth. We were lucky to participate in some of such events during the evening time.

After the first week of my arrival here our conference has been ended. The remaining days were used by us to learn more about the city. It has a significant place in the history of human rights movement and nobody, who is associated with such movements, can avoid visiting this city at least once in his or her life time.

High Museum of Art, Atlanta

Atlanta houses many museums and galleries also. High Museum of Art is considered the largest one in the region. There are several other museums also in the city like Museum of Design Atlanta and Atlanta contemporary Art Center etc are also attracting visitors in large numbers. There are many theaters also in the city which keeps the theater act live. We could see a good number of people crowded in front of the theater. This denotes that the people of this city are still interested in theatrical art forms.

Tourism also became an important source of income for this city. Besides many places of historical importance, various gardens and open parks are attracting large crowd. After the introduction of Cheap Flights to Atlanta, the number of visitors has increased in the near future. However, the government has developed the infrastructure to accommodate any huge crowd. The city is known for its hospitality also. There is nothing more to say about it as it is something that you should know by experiencing it.

China is another country that has always fascinated me with its mythology and magic. I have read a lot about Chinese Magic and in my childhood days I used to fear these black magicians from China. The picture of an old man flying on a long stick and performing witchcraft was kept on the wall of our drawing room. My mother used to tell me that the man will come and catch children if they did not eat properly or behave properly. When I got a chance to go to Shanghai on a business trip, all these incidents have scrolled in my mind. From the older days of black magic and astrology, the land of dragons have developed to an economical power and now almost all global brands have a strong presence there. At the same time various Chinese brands are also capturing the global market. No companies can avoid doing business with China in the present scenario and that is why our company also planned to start operation in China.

Though many airlines including China Airlines and Korean Air are operating flights to Shanghai, I had to search for the cheapest airline. The search for cheap airfare tickets stopped when I got a ticket in one of the cheap flights to Shanghai. I reached there as per my schedule and start the work assigned to me by the company. As it was the initial stage, I did not have to work hard. Thus I got enough time to visit various places of importance. The city has developed into a busy business center and a large number of skyscrapers were there to exhibit the richness of the city. The Shanghai port, one of the busiest ports in the world is also maintained well.

There are many buildings in this city which tells us about the rich heritage of the Chinese architecture. Shanghai Grand Theater and Shanghai Oriental Art center are two such things. Here you have the facility to know more about the Chinese culture too. The music and dance shows conducted at various venues are showcasing the rich cultural heritage of China. Animals have intimate relation with Chinese astrology and culture too. The influence of Dragon is seen everywhere.

However the unique feature of Shanghai culture is Shikumen Residences. Two or three storied structures have unique architecture and you can see a large number of such houses in this city. According to some experts, this architecture is not an indigenous one, but has a blend of western architecture with that of the traditional one.

The city will never let you feel bored at any moment of time. You can spend the day time in any of the museums and galleries and the evenings in any of the open parks. These parks are being used for many recreational activities also. Shanghai has become a hot destination for shopping too. After the introduction of cheap tickets to Shanghai by many airlines, the number of people used to come here for shopping has increased.

More Than Bullfight and Football

Whenever we hear about Madrid the first thing that comes to our mind will be bullfight and the second thing will be the famous football club Real Madrid. Even I have the same feeling till I visited the city recently. It was a business trip. After taking the details of all cheap internationals flights I have taken tickets in one of the cheap flights to Madrid. This city has become one of the most visited cities in the world and one of the leading business centers in Europe. Hence almost all known international airlines like British Airways and Air Canada etc are operating flights to Madrid. After reaching the city, the first two three days I had hectic schedule and hence I could not visit any places in the city. After a long discussions and negotiations, I have finished my task successfully and I got some free time from the next day onwards.

I spent a full day watching bull fight. Fortunately, I happened to be there during Fiesta San Isidro. This is the biggest festival of the city and this the best occasion to know the culture of the city. As cheap tickets to Madrid are available, a large number of foreigners are also coming to participate in this week-long festival. During this period a number of different cultural programs will be held at different venues in the city and people will participate in these programs. A number of other activities like funny games etc also will be held during this period to attract a large number of crowds.

Food and beverages contributes a lot to the culture of the city and almost all festivals are closely related to dining in restaurants. El Gorodo is the largest lottery in the world that has been celebrated during Christmas every year. It has its own rules and traditions and the winning number will be announced in every bars and restaurants. This announcement itself has a specialty as it has been announced by singing and only children are entitled to sing the song of numbers in bars and restaurants. The people who are winning will burst into tears of joy and enjoy the occasion by sharing their food and beverages with others.

Madrid has a rich cultural heritage and various museums really showcase this rich heritage. It also exhibits the creations by modern day artists and it is really worth visiting the museums of Madrid when you are there.

Though the bullfight and the Football are considered the symbols of Madrid by the outsiders, the denizens have various other things to enjoy. Music is one such thing and there are many venues for performing arts in the city. I could attend one music event and it continued pass midnight with the audience dancing to the tune of the drum beats.

When I returned from the city, I really felt that I have not enjoyed the city and its culture fully. As airline tickets are available I have already planned to go to Madrid on a personal tour.
