ALASKA - Land of Opportunities

“Beautiful Scenery, big game, and fish of many kinds help to make Alaska an attractive vacation land for tourists.  Besides being called as ‘Land of Opportunity’, Alaska is also known as ‘Last Frontier’. One of the most scenic of Alaska’s several thousand glaciers Mendenhall Glacier is 17 miles long and 3 miles wide.”

Alaska, the largest State in United States of America (USA), has innumerable tourist attractions.  It varies from mountains, beaches, rivers, glaciers and vast forests and they attract millions of travelers to Alaska. Though there are various Airlines operating to Alaska, we preferred to take Alaska Airlines Flights and make Alaska Airlines flight Reservations after a well planned itinerary to enjoy what this country offers.

Alaska Sightseeing

There are lots of choices in Alaska for sightseeing.  Improvements made in Alaska make it a very attractive place to visit.  There is n number of glaciers and Mendenhall Glacier, the largest and most popular one, is only just 15 minutes drive from Juneau, the capital city of Alaska. We decided to drive through Alaska Highway bordered by wild flowers and pine trees. We had an exhilarating experience because it moves towards a skyline of majestic mountain peaks permanently covered with ice and snow. To visit Alaska is not expensive nowadays because Cheap Flights are easily available.

There are many other tourist attractions like:

•    Denali National Park is one of the largest national parks in the entire U.S region. It houses grizzly bears, wolves, reindeer and many other animals besides various species of birds. For hikers, this park offers wonderful opportunity.

•    Alaska Museum of the North – famous for archaeological exhibits including ethnological articles made by the native people.

•    Mount McKinley measuring 20,320 feet where you go for trekking and mountain biking if you like adventure.

•    The American Sea Life Center where undersea animals can be seen in their natural habitat.

Among all flights to Alaska Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is the most important one in Alaska. We found that Alaska Airlines Tickets are cheap and economical because the airline company offers low airfare and discounts on their flights.  We decided to visit Alaska and planned it in advance. So, we could book our tickets in Alaska Airlines Flight and availed discounts.  This helped us immensely and enjoyed our visit to Alaska thoroughly.
